Alex is also experienced in injury and in rehabilitation work and will happily work closely with your physiotherapist/medical professionals to help further your recovery.
The first step in your personal training is an initial assessment. In this time, Alex will address your goals, look at your exercise history, assess your flexibility and discuss any injury issues. Alex will also look at your posture and movement patterns to see if he can pick up any other issues that need addressing.
Everyone is different. They have different goals, different ways they want to approach their exercise regime and different personalities. This first consultation is important as it gives you and your trainer time to meet and to get to know one another whilst at the same time looking very closely at how your training will be structured to meet your needs.
Personal training will also include full nutritional guidance to help you change the way you think about the food you eat and develop a healthier lifestyle. Alex can also help with an exercise programme to complement the work you do together.
Your training will develop along with your fitness. As you reach certain goals and targets, so your training will advance to keep challenging the body and to keep things progressing.
